Why life insurance?
Life insurance is used to protect the financial security of the people you love most. A policy pays a cash benefit, tax free, to your beneficiaries when you die. There are three main types: term, permanent and universal.
โณ Term life
Low-cost protection for a set period โ 10 to 40 years.
โพ๏ธ Permanent life
Lifelong coverage that builds cash value over time.
๐ Universal life
Permanent coverage with investments inside the policy.

Term life insurance
Term provides temporary protection for temporary needs, with flexibility to adjust as your needs change. Choose a term between 10 and 40 years โ to cover you until your children grow up or a debt is paid off. Term 10, 20 or 30 are the most common, depending on your needs and budget.
Term is an excellent place to start: it’s low in cost and usually convertible into a permanent policy without new medical evidence whenever you’re ready.
Permanent insurance
Permanent life insurance is an excellent choice if you want lifelong coverage and equity in the form of cash value over time. Costs are usually guaranteed when you first buy the policy.
Some permanent plans let you pay for a limited number of years and then never again. Imagine buying at 40, finishing your payments at 50, and being covered for the rest of your life. Term insurance, by contrast, is “pay as you go” for as long as you have coverage.
Permanent premiums can be guaranteed level for life โ they don’t rise as you age, even if your health changes โ or vary depending on the plan you choose.
Universal life insurance
Universal life lets you choose investments within the policy, making it a strong tool for tax-sheltered growth. Choose limited 10, 15 or 20-year payments, payments to age 65, or life pay, along with a guaranteed death benefit. You save for your future while staying covered.
